Sign from my vet clinic job
This quarter I started working as a receptionist for Livewell Animal Hospital of Kirkland- a brand new general practice vet clinic! This was my first quarter as an official pre-vet student on the road to veterinary school and I was so excited to have the opportunity to be in a clinic setting while studying at UW. The team has been so kind and welcoming as we all go to know each other and I know that I will be learning a lot in this role. This is the sign that the other receptionist made for our clinic and it captures all of the excitement of this new job and new clinic!

Tabling for Yarn It!
This is the tabling setup for Yarn It, an RSO focusing on fiber arts (knitting, crocheting). I have been involved with Yarn It since my first quarter at UW and am now one of the co-presidents. In the photo, my co-president Hanaia and I tabled at the Student Activities fair in the beginning of the quarter to spread the word about our club. We sat at the booth for about 4 hours and had countless conversations connecting with students about the hobby, and sharing more about what we do at Yarn It. This photo and experience highlight this new leadership position, as well as me stepping outside of my comfort zone to talk with new people.

EDSPE 422 Final Project
This is my final project for my EDSPE 422 (dis)Ability, Education, and the Arts course. I have linked the full project and explanation to the image, but this is the visual component. This course was unlike any other that I have taken at the UW. I was initially intrigued because I was unsure about the overlap between these three subjects. However, I am extremely interested in all three and loved learning about education and disability in a new light, through the lens of art. This course has made me reflect on how I view art as a powerful method of communication, resistance, and education.
